About Kit ~ 7yo Fox Terrier girl (on trial 18/07/16)
Kit, a small, 7 yo, female, Fox Terrier X who has found herself homeless and is now looking for a new home. She is a very loving girl, housetrained and loves nothing more than snoozing on a comfy chair in the morning sunshine watching the world go by. She loves a good sleep in and a warm lap. She enjoys playing with her small foster brothers and sisters.
Kit needs to be inside with her family and sleep inside. She will warn you if someone is at the door. She enjoys going for walks and travels well in the car. Kit will help you whilst you water the garden, but may end up wet chasing the water. She has very cute markings with one perfectly placed black spot right on the top of her head.
Kit is good with teenagers but hasn't been tested with younger children. She's shown no interest in cats. She enjoys playing with small dogs but hasn't been tested with large dogs. She responds to basic commands.
Kit would suit a retiree, someone she can potter around the yard with and laze about in the sun, enjoying life in the slow lane.
For more information or to meet Kit, please contact her foster carer Carolyn on 0403 653 001 or email cazza1952@gmail.com. Kit is in foster care in Singleton, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Kit's adoption fee is $200 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
