About Marco
Hi my name is Marco and I had to have my back leg amputated a few weeks ago
as I had been suffering from a non-functional cruciate ligament for a while.
I had some practice on three legs prior to the surgery but I found my other
feet very quickly and it's not stopping me at all.
I'm a very sweet little man with great house manners. I'm extremely
attentive and respond to instructions - such as not licking my wound (so I
get better quickly and can move to a furever family) staying out of the
kitchen going outside for a toilet break jumping up onto the couch for a
cuddle or going to bed.
I love to play and sniff around with my other foster puppies but I also
enjoy time on my own sitting on the couch (or bed) next to my foster family.
I get along with everyone I meet as soon as they come up and say hello. I
enjoy the comfort of indoors and also the outdoors when it's not cold.
Two days after my surgery I came into my foster house with my tail high and
wagging and a big smile on my face. I started jumping up on the couch a
few days after that and since my medications have stopped I found my voice
and my love for chasing things around. So I'm growing stronger and stronger
every day and returning to my normal vibrant bubbly self.
I hope you can find it in your hearts to take me into your home care for me
and love me because I will most certainly repay love and kindness a
hundred-fold.
