About Cooper
Even though cooper is a large boy, he is ever so beautiful and he absolutely ADORES other dogs. We have had him in boarding kennels for some training and socialisation and he has made all of the staff fall head over heels in love with him.
He is currently learning all his basic training, something that has come a bit later in life than preferred but he has shown to be quite intelligent in his reception of it. He is also very human focused and would love an owner who wants to take an active approach to life with him. Be that walking on the beach, or daily walks, cuddles inside or a wrestle out in the yard. He's yours.
Cooper hasn't met many kids since being in care but due to his size, and his strength we would suggest a home with kids over the age of 5-7 as he may knock them down. But he hasn't shown any aggression , just unknowing to how large he actually is.
Size wise cooper will be around 50-60 kilos when fully grown, quite standard for his breed mix and what a breed mix it is too!
Cooper will need a home with safe and secure fencing, at least 5ft but we are sure he could go to property if suitable as well. He does need a home with NO cats though as he doesn't seem to interact well with them and is far too curious for comfort with their presence. A home with another friendly and social dog is preferred as he really does enjoy the company of other canines.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
