Stevie (Bnd241)

Stevie is a sweet-natured, friendly and very loyal boy. He loves to be around you, likes his cuddles and would definitely be a lap dog if given the chance. He gets on well with adults and children.

Stevie needs someone willing to keep working on his lead walking as he likes to lead the way and can pull when things get exciting. He can get a bit anxious around other dogs when on his lead, but is happy once he’s had the chance to say hello. Off-lead he is good with other dogs, with good recall.

During his time in foster care, he has mixed with a range of other foster dogs – young and old, big and small – as well as a foster cat and gotten on well with all of them. He has been living on a rural property lately and has been good with chooks and livestock while under supervision.

At home Stevie is relaxed and happy. He would love to be with you all the time but he is ok when left at home and is happy to be both inside and outside.

Stevie came to SAFE with issues regarding his knees. These have been managed through diet, adding a dietary supplement and monitoring his exercise. His most recent vet check showed that things are going well for him. Vet reports are available to view.

Applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee covers sterilisation, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations and vet check.
