About Griffin
Introducing gorgeous Griffin. When he came into care he was anxious and underweight. He had a matted coat requiring a full shave and inflamed paws from over licking. With a settled environment and a good diet these things are improving. Now he just needs a special, stable loving forever home...preferably with one person.
Gain his trust and he will adore you forever. He is extremely loyal and bonds closely to 1 person to the exclusion of all others, so would be best suited to a 1 person household.(before being fostered his last adoption failed due to him becoming too possessive of his fave human)
Griffin is a cuddly boy who will nuzzle into you or snuggle onto your lap for a pat. While he loves to be with you he's also quite content to chill out on his bed.
Griffin gets very excited about going for a walk and it seems to be his favourite activity..unless he encounters other dogs. When on lead he barks and lunges at other dogs..when they are out of sight he continues merrily on his way. He will require a patient, calm owner who can help him slowly build confidence to deal with this.
Whilst initially timid with his foster brother (another terrier) after a short period they were playing together. He is also good when taken off lead at a friends place with her 2 dogs. When he met them the lunging and barking stopped very shortly after his lead was taken off. He then co-existed happily with them.
Griffin is otherwise pretty quiet, toilet trained,a good car traveller and a gentle treat accepter.
Breed: Terrier mixed Poodle.
