About Evie ~ Maltese x Mini Foxy puppy (Trial 18/7/16)
Evie is a 9 week old, female, Maltese x Mini Foxy puppy. She is a little sweetie who loves to romp around in the garden with the other puppies, then find a friendly human for a cuddle and nap. She is a very healthy little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. She has the short, easy-care coat of a mini foxy.
Evie is an inside dog and must sleep inside. She will be great family dog and is suitable for children 8 years and older. You will need good fencing with no small gaps.
It would be a big plus if you had another friendly dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Evie. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then we would prefer for there to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time so she doesn't have to spend long hours home alone.
We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies. Evie will need a daily walk, toys, and interaction with people. Puppies are a big commitment for approximately 15 years.
Evie and her brother Archie are healthy, happy little puppies ready to begin their lives in their forever homes.
As Evie is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Evie, please phone her foster mum Robyn on 02 4953 7115. Please leave a detailed message and she'll ring you back. The puppies are in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Newcastle).
Evie's adoption fee is $650 and includes her desexing, two vaccinations, and he's been treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
