Hilux ~ Kelpie (On Trial 29/10/16)

Introducing Hilux - a 4 year old, purebred male Kelpie. He is a beautiful and very active boy, but he still likes a good snuggle.

Hilux’s favourite thing in life is to chase and fetch a ball. Hilux plays well with my other dogs and because he is highly active, he needs someone motivated, who will play with him and walk him regularly. Hilux is good on the lead, likes car rides and knows basic commands such as: sit, drop and he waits for the OK to eat. He is very intelligent and would benefit from ongoing training.

Hilux has been in households with various aged children, but I would recommend older children (10 and up). Did I say he likes to fetch??? I am not sure if he likes water sprinklers or hates them but it is quite entertaining when I switch them on. Although he is very active he still likes to relax and snuggle if given the chance.

Hilux sleeps outside, when it is cold he benefits from a dog coat because he does not have an ounce of fat on him. All the dogs come inside in the evenings, they have a play and then settle down. He is very affectionate and is always looking for pats and cuddles.
