About Barney
Barney has come into our care from a Sydney Animal Shelter where his former owner left him with the reason being they were travelling overseas and Barney had become surplus. Well Barney was lost and confused and we could see he was not coping in the shelter with the noise and anxiety of the other dogs.
So Barney is now safe in our foster carers home learning to be loved again and having to come to grips with his new life.
Barney is a compact Shepherd less then 25 kilos and more medium sized so an easy to manage and gentle to walk boy who with his a full black coat is a striking dog.
Barney has been desexed and vaccinated and will be professionally groomed and bathed before he goes to his forever home. Learning to play with his fellow rescue dogs at this stage we would prefer Barney to go to a home as a companion dog for a mature aged couple.
He has not been tested with cats or pocket pets at this stage.
Gentle and attentive this mature aged male is in need of a calm loving home where he has inclusion in the home and can sit beside you and watch tv and be your best companion.
For more information on Barney please contact Pauline.
Medical notes
Barney is located at Kurri Kurri in NSW and has been desexed, vaccinated is on heart worm prevention and will be professionally groomed prior to going to his forever home.
