About Evie
Evie is in foster care along with her sister, Bonnie. We believe them to be an Australian Shepherd x Border Collie mix and they have the softest, snuggliest coats! Evie is the quieter of the two, whilst she loves to play with her foster friends and sister, she's an absolute sweetheart and also super snuggly. Evie loves to do her own thing and will often pull away from the pack and find something to amuse herself.
Whilst in care, Evie has been fully crate trained and sleeps soundly through the night alongside her sister Bonnie. She has also learnt 'sit', 'wait' and progressing well with toilet training.
Evie has been well socialised with both kids and other dogs while in care but does show signs of being timid when approached by humans. We are unsure of the situation they were in before coming into care and believe that once she has your complete trust, this will no longer be seen.
Evie will need an active family/owner and a good sized back yard. We do estimate that she will be more towards the larger side when fully grown and will of course need ongoing training in her new home. We recommend puppy preschool and socialisation with other dogs once she has been fully vaccinated to ensure she grows up to be a sociable young lady.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Evie.
Evie will come microchipped, desexed, vaccinated (1st & 2nd), wormed and flea treated. Her vet work is yet to be completed but a meet and greet can most certainly be arranged. Evie is located in Hamlyn Terrace on the Central Coast, NSW.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
