About Maisie
Meet Maisie, A gorgeous puppy who was left in a backyard and her previous owners moved out, without her.
Maisie is in foster care in Copacabana, with our lovely McNamara Family.
Maisie is living with 5 adults and four foster host dogs, including a Border Collie, Dalmatian, Golden Retriever and Labrador. Maisie has had no exposure to pocket pets or cats, so best to say a family without either. Maisie sleeps inside on her cushions/pod with lots of blankets, sheets and toys. Maisie is used to inside living, and the creature comforts that come with it.
Maisie came into care, very under weight and as a result is showing signs of Food Aggression with other DOGS, but not towards her HUMAN foster family. Maisie shows no sign of Dominance with Other Dogs and is VERY Dog Friendly and VERY playful, and doesn't understand her own size yet. Maisie loves toys and chasing the ball and no identified fears in foster care known. Maisie requires endless love, cuddles and ear kisses!
Maisie has had little exposure to the outside world and is only learning now how to Walk on a Lead and is learning Basic Commands, of SIT, WAIT and TOILET TRAINING.
The perfect furrever home for Maisie would be one were cuddles and kisses are endless, and give her the attention she deserves. Her full-of-life energy means that she will need an active lifestyle with lots of toys!

Adoption details
When enquiring about MAISIE, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and MAISIE.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
