Hi, my name is Gerry the Giraffe. Wait! no, I’m Gerry the Dane/Ridgeback X.

I am pretty calm, and my foster kids say I am great to play with. I like to run next to you or your bike ( and I can keep up!). I like cuddles and I am a very quick learner as I love my food treats. This last week I have learned to come when my name is called, sit and I am busy learning to stay.

I don't run out the gate, preferring to stay in my familiar place. I don't bite, jump up, or dig, but occasionally I take shoes outside and put them on the grass.

I am good with dogs, and kids, and have never met a cat. I would love to be part of any active family. I can travel in he back of a car, on the back of a ute, and am great in public places. My foster mum says I am the easiest, calmest puppy she has ever looked after.
