About Binky
Please note: Binky will be the only dog in his new home and if you want an easy dog don’t read on. He is looking for an adult home to give him love and equally important boundaries.
Say Hello to Binky! This little cutie is definitely best suited to being an only dog in an adult only home.
Binky has come a long way since being in foster care. Binky had been neglected for some years and when rescued he had matts and burrs all over his body from his years outside. He had severe bladder infections which caused some house training issues and these have now been resolved however his new owner would need to offer him frequent toilet breaks or a doggy door.
Binky was fearful of many things due to his earlier treatment in life but with a consistent and no nonsense approach he has calmed considerably. With ongoing simple remedies and an experienced dog owner Binky will be a fabulous and very loyal companion.
Give Binky a ball and you might just be in the presence of the happiest dog in the world. He is crazy about his rubber ball and even sleeps with it! He loves his toys and will play with anyone though this amiable little chap will equally happily potter around while you do your thing. He is easy to walk and sociable with dogs and humans he meets.
Binky does not always like being told what to do and sometimes growls to display his disapproval - we are working on this. Binky will need a confident person to provide loving boundaries and help him learn right from wrong!
He is a macho little guy that just needs the right person to bring him back to the dog he would have been without years outside and the odd kick because inside he is a marshmallow. But don’t say we said that!! Naturally we have had him assessed and will continue to work with his adopter over any ups and downs in the relationship.
Binky would adore a home where he is offered close human company. Will that be with you?

understanding groomer. (his foster carer washes him with no problems at all).
Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.

Unfortunately we usually will not have time to reply to enquiries in more detail and will give priority to completed applications over enquiries. Priority will also be given to typed applications which are easier for us to read and to copy relevant parts.
