Poppy

Hi there, my name is Poppy.

I’m a 5 year old Jack Russell Terrier. I am such a friendly little lady to all the people that I meet, but am a bit unsure around young children and would be best suited to a house with older kids or just adults.

I get along well with my foster canine brother and sister, but can be a bit overwhelmed when meeting other dogs and would fit in best to a single pet household or a doggy friend who is calm and not too excitable.

I am housetrained and love snuggling up for a cuddle with my foster Mum and Dad, and sleeping close by them in my bed at night time.

I can be curious and want to explore my surroundings, for this reason I will need a yard with very secure fencing. I am not cat or small animal friendly Eg; rabbits, chickens.

I love going for walks and am learning to walk well on the lead, and respond to basic commands. However I will need a family who is willing to continue this training with me.

I hope I can find my forever home soon, and would give lots of love to my forever family who I know is out there somewhere!
