Kovu ~ German Shepherd x Staghound (on hold)

Kovu: 2 year old German Shepherd x Staghound. This majestic looking girl is called Kovu. According to her besotted foster carers, Kovu is the sweetest and most loyal girl you could hope to meet.

Being a very affectionate dog with a seriously lovely nature, Kovu would be happy to sit by her human’s side and get pats all day. Being fit, active and happy, Kovu would make a perfect companion for a young family, as she loves playing with children, people and other animals.

Kovu is currently living on a property with no other dogs, she shares the space with some sheep and two young humans who she loves and plays very gently with. All round, Kovu is a good-natured girl, who is easy to get along with and is constantly playing with her canine companions.

Although Kovu is learning other basic commands such as bed and stay, she still needs a little more training, as she tends to jump when excited. Kovu can sit when asked and walks very well on a lead and loves going in the car. However, she is very responsive and eager to learn; a very well-behaved girl. With a long, smooth coat that can be easily cared for with just a bath and regular brushing, Kovu is quite a low maintenance dog.

Given plenty of love, attention and exercise, Kovu would cope in most situations. Not having had much love before she found herself at the pound, Kovu is a deserving dog who adores to be loved and she comes with a 100% guarantee to return that love a hundred-fold.
