About Dodo
Hi our names are Buddy & Dodo. We’re both lovely girls who have lived together all our lives so we need to stay together. I know you’re thinking our names are funny for girls but our dad was a funny character.
Sadly our owner got sick and has had to go into a nursing home. He was a lovely man and we miss him very much, he would take us for nice long walks everyday into the township where we lived, it was an hours walk there and back so we’re very fit, everyone knew us in town and used to give us pats which we loved.
For two months we have been living in the house on our own but our uncle came and walk us twice a day, feed and played with us but we really missed having our dad to keep us company and to sleep with at night.
We’re both house trained, have good recall, we know how to sit but at the moment are very excited around humans because we’re craving attention, so staying in the sit position is hard, we’ve never lived with children but we behaved well around our relatives children, although we could knock young ones over as we jump up. Dodo mouths a bit when she’s excited so it’s best we don’t go to a home with young children.
It’s better that we don’t go to a home with cats and even though we’re dog friendly it would be too much to expect us to live with other dogs at our age.
We’re both scared of storms and fireworks which isn’t uncommon for our breed.
Stafford Rescue Vic. is very nice and we’ve been made very welcome with a cosy place to stay but we've had to go into foster care as we couldn't cope with being in a dog run.
We will be getting some good photo’s taken this week so please keep your eye out for them.
If you think you can offer us a forever home please go to Stafford Rescue Vic. website and apply.

If you think you can offer me a forever home please go to
http://www.staffordrescuevictoria.org.au/index.php/adoption-forms-6
and fill out the Adoption Request Form. You will receive an email acknowledgement within 3 days. If you do not receive any further contact after this please do not be discouraged. It just means that a suitable application was received before yours. We encourage you to contact SRV at SRVadoptions@hotmail.com every week to show you are still interested in adopting. As we will already have your form on file it will fast track the process when a suitable dog does become available.
Adopt one of our dogs and we are there for you for the rest of the dog's life. If you find you and the dog are not suited it is a condition of sale that the dog comes back to Stafford Rescue.
