About Freda
Freeda is such a sweet girl! She is definitely the quietest of the litter but given just a little time with her she shows she is a strong contender for the sweetest of the litter! Being a more shy pup obedience classes would be very beneficial for her not only to learn to follow basic commands etc but also build her confidence and socialisation with other puppies and people. She would be best suited to a family with either no children or older children who can understand her shy nature and be able to participate in the obedience classes and help with positive reinforcement to help settle her into the family.
Freeda will need to meet any other dogs in the family prior to adoption so if you do already have another dog and you are thinking of adopting Freeda please bring your dog along to the shelter to meet her so we can see how they interact.
Once Freeda has mastered the art of walking on a lead (yes she is shy but she is also very clever and should learn this quickly) she will need to start being taken for daily walks. She also needs daily interactive playtime such as teaching her to play fetch.
Freeda is going through the teething stage so to help her through it please provide her with plenty of appropriate chew toys and keep things out of her reach that she should be chewing!
To ensure Freeda is kept safe and secure she will need large yard which has colourbond fences and gates that are at least 5ft high and in good condition with no gaps or footholes.
