About Astaire
Astaire donned his top hat and danced his way off deathrow accompanied by one of his wives (Bluebell Rogers), the mother of his most recent children!
What a lovely chap he is! he was owned by an elderly lady at a dept of housing address but found himself embroiled in some politics all over his sexual activities. Astaire had never been desexed unfortunately and he made full use of that status.
Now retired from the dance floor,he is looking for a home where he can hang his hat.
This lovely cat has excelled in his friendliness since arriving. He loves his meals, a talk and a pat. He has not shown any form of aggression to the other cats and likes to spend his time sleeping on top of the cages on the verandah. His expression is always pleasant!
Astaire carries the Feline Immune Deficiency Virus (FIV) see notes below on health.
FIV is not transferrable to humans and many people own cats with the condition without being aware of it.
Medical notes
Very healthy, very friendly and affectionate. FIV+
One of the vets we use recently said that her FIV cat lived to the age of 20 years. We have heard of many of these cats living long healthy lives. We have three other FIV cats, one of these has been with us for nine years. The only illnesses any of them have had is Catflu which they quickly overcame with treatment.
