About Missy
Missy has settled quite quickly she seems quite unfazed about coming into care. She is sweet and affectionate. She has a lovely dispositon, she looks a bit chubby in pics but that is really just the angle of the photos.
I think she is beautiful and she is a delight. Missy doesn't appear to be a barker.
Massey and Missy came into care together. We would like to rehome these girls together if we can. Our lovely foster carer is happy to wait until the perfect home comes along that can take both girls.
Both girls get on great with our foster carers two male dogs. Both girls are very easy going and are quite cruisy..They are not barkers :)
But be warned they are snugglers. They will snuggle up to you in the cold weather we are having. They poke their heads out from under the doona while they snuggled up on couch.
Both girls have settled well into care and I have been told they are always smiling.
Adoption details
If you should chose to adopt a dog from SEQ K9 Rescue..
You will be asked to complete an adoption application.
Completing this form helps us to determine if the dog is suited to your circumstances. Some dogs have special needs so we are looking for the perfect forever home for all of our dogs needs.
After you have completed and returned the adoption application we decide if you are a good match for the dog you are applying for. Sometimes we may recommend another dog we have in our care.
Next we will arrange for your to meet the dog/puppy.
We ask that bring along your family and any other animals you have in your household. A yard check (or yard photos) will be checked and only then will approval be considered.
Please remember sometimes there are several applications for the same dog so this process may take up to a week.
The adoption fee must be paid before any of our animals are released from our care.
We also offer a 2 week trial period - if you have any issues with your chosen dog/puppy you must contact SEQ K9 Rescue via text immediately.
If for any reason the dog needs to be returned to us, the adoption fee minus a $50 non refundable deposit will be kept by the rescue. Your refund will be returned via bank transfer within 10 working days.
If the pet is returned after the trial period generally no refund will be made.
Interstate adoptions may be requested to supply additional information and photographs of the proposed environment for the animal. Interstate adopter must pay transport costs in addition to the adoption fee.
If an animal is to returned from an interstate adoption, the adopter is to pay all costs to return the animal to SEQ K9 Rescue in Brisbane..
