About Buddy
Please note: Buddy and Lara are quite bonded and if you are a good match we would love to rehome these two together.
If you’re looking for a sweet-natured, people-pleasing addition to your family, Buddy might just be the one for you!
Buddy is extremely loving and affectionate. He enjoys cuddling and sitting on your lap whenever the opportunity arises, and will happily sit beside you when the TV is on. He’s not pushy or demanding in his approach, but loves to snuggle with his family as much as he can. Buddy follows you around the house in your daily activities as he just wants to be close to you. He also enjoys a good belly rub or three, but more than anything lives to make his people happy.
After Buddy has a controlled introduction to another dog we are sure he would like to have the company of a confident friendly female dog during the day. Buddy is a follower not a leader!! Buddy is also okay with cats – a little curious and wary, but not aggressively so. This gorgeous boy doesn’t have a mean bone in his body!
Buddy is obedient to the commands he’s been taught as he’s keen to please you and do what you expect from him. He is adaptable and would easily fit in anywhere, but would be best suited to a home where he can be an active part of the family, and loved as much as he loves back in return. He also needs to be invited indoors where all the action is, but he’s so well behaved around the house.
In short, whoever gets to take Buddy to his forever home with them will be very lucky indeed.

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
