About Lara
Please note: Lara and Buddy are quite bonded and if you are a good match we would love to rehome these two together.
Meet Lara, an energetic, playful girl with a sweet, loving personality!
Lara loves to sit close to you and cuddle up to your chest whenever she can. She enjoys lots of attention and would most likely need some company during the day. Lara is looking for a family who will include her as one of them. She wants to be as close to you and the action as possible. Lara may sometimes take a little while when first introduced to a new friend, but then comes out of her shell and reveals her true, affectionate self.
Being an active girl, Lara needs daily exercise and so would be best matched with a similarly sporty family. She needs to walk and/or run at least 3-5km a day, and also happily plays fetch with her toys. She’s obedient to the commands that she knows, and is so keen to do the right thing as she enjoys few things more than pleasing her humans. She’s fine with cats, although she might chase them if they run, but isn’t aggressive towards them.
If you have a loving home and are ready and willing to open your door and heart to this lovely, well-behaved lady, Lara will repay that love in spades!

Adoption details
We are a community fostercare network, not a shelter, and our dogs and cats are cared for in private homes. Note that we are very careful where we rehome our dogs and cats and we have an intensive process. If you want a quick turnaround we are not the group for you. If you seem like a good match for the dog of your choice we will organise a telephone chat, a meet and greet and a property check. We offer a six-week full refund, free assistance for six weeks for any issues, and a lifetime takeback policy with a fifty percent refund of the adoption fee, and of course an invitation to our adopters’ Christmas party.
We care for our dogs and cats and we want you too as well. We know that genuine applicants have no trouble with this process and understand that if we refuse you a dog or cat, it is because you are not the best match for that pet.
Our commitment to the dogs and cats in our care is total and we treat each one as if we are passing on a family pet. This may not suit you so we point out that there are equally great dogs and cats available in pounds, shelters and with other rescue groups.
