About Matt
"He's such a lovable boy, he's loved every person and dog we've come into contact with. So soft and snuggly and his ears are like velvet! "
That's what Matt's foster mum has to say about this boy :)
Matt is a loveable and very well behaved young boy with a good temperament. He has settled in well to the routines of his foster home and is learning his basic commands, to sit on greeting and at meal times (albeit a very wriggly sit). He’s learning to fetch and drop the ball and to walk on leash. He’s very food motivated, a quick learner and responds very well to training.
Matt is young and energetic and needs plenty of exercise. His foster family walk him twice a day (each walk around 20-30 minutes) plus some play time in the back yard. Matt loves going out and meeting people but now that he is settled into his foster home, he also seems content to be left outside by himself amusing himself with his toys and will not bark or complain (unless he knows its dinner time).
Matt loves the company of his humans, he is affectionate and takes treats very gently from your hand. And he absolutely loves his night time brush before bed!
Like many dogs Matt doesn’t like fireworks, and wants to come inside to escape the noise. Matt is looking for a home where he will be part of the family and join in family activities. He needs some exercise each day and a family who are prepared to continue with his training and socialization. He will need a home with good secure fencing and a yard for him to run around in.
Matt is a beautiful young dog who has such great potential. If you are interested in more information we would love to hear from you.
