Willow - Loves horses

My name is Willow and I am a gentle giant looking for my perfect forever family. I am a 5 year old female Great Dane, and I’m a country girl at heart.
I am my absolute happiest when I’m zooming around the farm, running alongside the car to go up to feed the horses or when I’m curled up inside somewhere soft and warm which is where I spend most of my day and night, asleep.

Almost every human that meets me falls in love with me, once I show them how sweet I really am. I get along pretty well with other dogs once I have sussed them out, but I prefer big dogs to small ones. The little ones can be a bit scary!

My foster mums have been taking me to lots of new places, and I love to jump in the car at any opportunity! My favourite adventures are always big outdoor spaces, like parks or farms, and if Mum says its safe then I can zoom around like I do at home.

I always come bounding straight back when my name is called! My least favourite adventures are busy places like carparks, shops and cafes, I still get quite scared by traffic. In places like this I always stay on the lead, I don’t need a halter or harness, I walk nicely on a loose lead attached straight to my collar. I’m very well house trained, I will always let you know when I need to go outside.

I don’t ever jump up, I am very respectful when my humans are eating, and I am very gentle with all people, especially kids! My favourite reward is a nice pat from my humans, I’d prefer that over a food treat any day! If a human does give me a food treat that I feel like eating, I never snatch, I always take it from them very gently once I have sniffed it first.

My ideal home will have acreage for me to play on when I’m outside but where I spend lots of time inside with my humans. Even though I’m so big, I’m the best inside dog! Its definitely true that big dogs have big hearts and mine is filled with gold.
