About Lisa
Meet LISA.
This lovely girl is a playful three year old Staffy mix. She's a very affectionate girl and has a lot of love to give!
Lisa enjoys nature walks and runs but is also equally happy playing a game of fetch and tug of war if the weather isn't great.
She has come on so well since being rescued and has her basic commands down pat and is toilet trained. However the excitement of new people and places still sometimes gets the better of her. In the right environment and with consistent training - her foster family use frequent positive reinforcement with treats - we are confident she will continue to learn.
Lisa would be best suited to an active couple or family. Lisa is unsure of other dogs and would be best suited to a home where she is the only dog. She isn't a fan of bath time but stays still with the right treats and a calm hand.
Lisa's vet said she was in great shape last visit and had achieved a healthy weight. Her vet also thought she could be trained out of her fear towards other dogs after watching her interact with another dog in the clinic. She's not a fan of cats though.
Lisa is a beautiful companion and her foster family say she been a pleasure to foster.
Lisa is currently in foster care in Canberra. Meetings can be arranged in Sydney if this suits potential families.
