About Rex
Meet our Inspector Rex yes this boy is smart as and is looking for a forever home. Rex has just turned two years of age and is located at Yass, Forty minutes from Canberra and three hours from the NSW/Victorian border.
Unfortunately he has had to find another home as his former owner has found he is just too energetic for their Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. This boy is an intelligent young dog so he needs a confident owner who will provide Rex with plenty of playtime and exercise so Rex does not became a bored dog.
Rex is desexed, fully vaccinated and is in care with two other dogs but he is young and strong and plays too rough with the smaller dogs.
He has not been tested with cats or pockets pets but due to his size and exuberance we feel he is better in a home with no pocket pets or cats and children over eight years of age.
Rex has also been around a growing family and he is beautiful with people and must be an integral family member. You see he has been a yard dog and this has not helped his behaviour I know I would be bored sitting in a backyard all day looking at colorbond fencing. Shepherds need there human contact, plenty of stimulation and lots of walks and playtime. Don't leave them outside to sit at the backdoor all day waiting for attention this does them no good.
So if you have owned a German Shepherd before and understand their needs and their degree of intelligence and have the time and commitment and can I repeat commitment to take on a young and very alert male shepherd then please contact Linda.
Medical notes
Rex is located at Yass and comes as a desexed dog, fully vaccinated and microchipped. He is a 36 kilo dog and will grow into a 40 plus kilo dog when full grown.
