About Colby: Mixed Breed (on trial 4/8/16)
Colby 4 month old male Mixed Breed.
Meet Colby (named after his foster carer's favourite comedian)! With his sad, old gentleman's eyes, this little guy will quickly capture your heart. He is an adorable, happy, healthy and playful boy who has a truly lovely and soft nature.
Colby is a fit, active and happy puppy who gets along well with people and other dogs. Being gregarious and extremely lovable, Colby would make a perfect companion for a young family, as he loves playing with children. Colby gets along very well with his mixed breed foster sister and three other large dogs in the family. This little man’s aims and passion in life are just to have as much fun as possible.
Although Colby is learning basic commands such as, sit, bed and stay, he needs a little more training and attention on toilet training. Being very responsive and eager to learn, Colby has a lovely nature and is growing into a well-behaved and mature boy.
With his smooth coat that can easily be cared for with just a bath and the occasional brushing, Colby is very low maintenance. He will grow up to be a medium size adult. Colby would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.
If you feel you can provide this super friendly pup with a loving, permanent home, please contact Nora on 0418 402 150 or dogrescuemudgee@gmail.com
When the vet gives the go-ahead Colby will be de-sexed. He is vaccinated, free of fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. His adoption fee is $300.
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
