Byron ~ kelpie x puppy (On Trial 25/6/16)

Introducing Byron! An 11 week old, male, Kelpie X puppy. He is an active little puppy who has been raised in a home environment. He has been very well socialised with other puppies and adult dogs (small and large) and gets along well with them all. He's met lots of people and is friendly and affectionate with all everyone.

Byron will grow up to be a medium sized dog. We always recommend puppy-training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. We don't feel that Byron will be suitable as a dog athlete or running partner.

It would be a big plus if you have a friendly adult dog as a teacher, companion and playmate for Byron. If you don't have another dog to keep him company, then there needs to be someone in the household that doesn't work full time.

Byron needs to be welcome inside when people are home, and to sleep inside at least until fully grown. He will be wonderful family dog and is suitable for children 10 years and older. Due to the nature of Kelpie's you will need good 6ft fencing with no small gaps. He can't go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire).

As Byron is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when he's approximately 5 months old.
