About Charlotte
Introducing Charlotte!
Charlotte is a beautifully stunning long haired 2yr old tabby and white girl with an exceptionally friendly personality. She is a quiet, gentle girl who loves lots of pats and simply ADORES sitting on someones lap and getting her luxuriously soft fur brushed. Charlotte is quite content to entertain herself by sitting at a window in the sun and watch the world go by, however she will make it VERY clear she wants attention but either coming over and rubbing herself against your leg, or will simply walk straight in front of you and flop onto her back, demanding a belly rub.
Charlotte would best suit an indoor environment with someone/a couple with either no children or teenage children. She would also suit an elderly person/couple extremely well who are looking to add a quiet, gentle pet to their household. Charlotte does get along with other cats, but would be most content if she were the only cat in the environment, and while she has been exposed to small dogs, she isn’t a huge fan initially but will tolerate them after a time.
Adoption details
Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee. All adoptions come with an adoption pack which contains all their certificates and paperwork, information on preventative health care, diet, pet insurance and potential toxins/poisons around the home.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
