About Jay
Looking for a playful young dog to be a friend for your dog then meet Jay. Jay is a gentle male German Shepherd who has come into care with us from a family who were moving overseas and were unable to take their much loved shepherd with them.
Jay is a compact sixteen month old male shepherd with a short coat with very pretty markings and he comes with a full vet history and in excellent health. Jay is house trained and very playful and at this young age will need regular daily walks, stimulation and playtime. Jay loves his human pack and would benefit from a home who have knowledge of the shepherd breed having owned this breed of dog before and understand their needs.
Jay is playful but is somewhat shy when he first meets people he is in need of further lead and obedience training we are continuing with his lead training and he is now in care with several other dogs and is playing well and loving the interaction. So Jay would be ideal as a friend for another dog either male or female of similar size and he does like to rumble.
At this stage he has not been tested with cats or pocket pets and being a young dog who still wants to jump up for kisses we would recommend a home with older children. Jay is learning manners and is now walking well to heal on lead.
Jay is currently in care at Windsor and for more information on this young and playful shepherd please contact Jan.
Medical notes
Jay is located at Windsor, NSW. He has been desexed, vaccinated C5, on heart worm prevention and has been wormed, flea treated and will be hydrobathed prior to going to his new home.
