"Rascal", Loves Being Loved.

Rascal is a completely different greyhound now, compared to the uncertain dog that came into foster care. With affection from his foster family, he’s blossomed into a sleek, gleaming blue boy, with an interest in everything that’s going on. Rascal has discovered how wonderful it is to be somebody’s pet, and is now ready to find someone he can truly belong to.

Rascal loves people, and has a passion for children – he’ll cry if he sees one and they don’t say hello! (being a big boy, any children in his forever home must be six or older). He gets on well with small dogs, and although he hasn’t been tested with cats, he hasn’t shown any interest when he’s seen them around the neighbourhood. Rascal is an active boy who enjoys walks and chasing toys (between naps of course), and also copes well with car rides and crowds. He’s very well-behaved and was house trained quickly. His only rascally habit is gathering ‘treasures’ – shoes, t-shirts, even underpants! – but he never chews them, just stores them carefully until his humans want them back.

Rascal has shown that whatever love he gets, he’ll repay it, with interest! He likes to lay his big head on his foster carer’s lap and is a very smoochy boy. We hope to find Rascal a family who will shower him with love and attention, and absorb all the affection he’ll give them in return.
