About Nash
Nash is a five month black and tan Kelpie that has just come into foster care. Nash was raised to be a working dog but didn’t quite cut it so he is looking for his forever home with an active family!
Nash just loves children, in foster care he has immediately taken to his eight year old human and loves nothing more than to curl up next to her on the heating vent. Nash is quite a shy little boy but this will easily be remedied with lots of socialisation, he needs to meet a variety of dogs and people and get used to the hustle and bustle of city life (if he ends up being a city dog). So far Nash has shown his foster carer that he loves food, he’s toilet trained, he establishes good eye contact (great for training), he comes when he’s called, is crate trained and he is calm and gentle. Although he has the usual puppy traits; being boisterous and likes to play, he listens well and does not jump, play bite or eats shoes!
Nash would be a great addition to an active family with children or even another dog, he currently has two foster siblings and he respects their seniority. Nash just wants to be close to you and will happily spend the day sitting by your feet. Of course, being from a working dog line he will need training and a firm hand when required.

OUR ADOPTION PROCESS
1. You see a dog you like.
2. Fill in our online adoption form by clicking here or on our website. Be sure to include any questions you may have on our adoption form. This form does not obligate you to adopt, it simply gives us an idea of your situation and needs.

3. If your are successful, one of our volunteers will contact you to organise a meet and greet at your home and conduct a yard check at the same time.
4. Should all go to plan, you will be welcomed to start your 2 week trial period immediately. Adoption fee will be required to be paid at the beginning of the trial period.
During the 2 week trial period, should you decide that this dog is not for you, you are welcome to return the dog (the more notice the better, to ensure we have a foster carer available) and your payment will be retunded to you in full, within 3 business days of the return of the dog.

We are a volunteer run organisation, who have their own jobs during the day, we don't have someone manning our phones 24/7, therefore cannot respond to all inquiries immediately. The fastest way to have your questions answered is to include it in the application form. This will speed up your application with us, and help us communicate with you faster.
Please be patient with us, as the unpredictable nature of rescue may prevent us from clearing all enquiries regularly.
