About Electra ~ Kelpie X ~ Puppy (on trial 10/08/16)
Electra is a 15 week old kelpie x puppy. She is a sweet natured little puppy who is one of the most sweet and gentle puppies we've ever met. Electra is great with children (especially tolerant of young babies and toddlers just loves playing) and gets along with other dogs.
Electra is showing progress being house trained and is responding well to basic training being able to sit and stay. Electra will need continued training to maximise her potential. She is working towards walking on the lead and loves to go to the park and beach.
Electra would suit a calm and relaxed household. She currently lives with another dog who she adores and gets along well with. He has been able to help her learn to be calm and relaxed within the house and when playing outdoors.
Electra sleeps inside and is amazing. She goes to sleep when the sun goes down and doesn't wake until morning. She does not bark.
Her sweet nature and loveable personality makes her the ideal companion for families with children and other dogs or someone who loves the outdoors during the day and relaxing at night.
As Electra is not yet desexed, she is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because she'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's approximately 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Electra, please phone her foster mum Jessie on 0409 452 046 or email ya_shorty01@hotmail.com. Please leave a detailed message and she'll ring you back. Electra is in Maitland, NSW (west of Newcastle).
Electra's adoption fee is $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations and microchipping and she's been treated for fleas and worms. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au
Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.docx
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
