“Duke”, Work of Art in Progress. Brisbane

Duke’s tail only stops wagging when he’s asleep…and even then, only just! This sweet-eyed boy is full of happiness and love for the humans who are giving him a chance to shine. Duke doesn’t just run, he prances with joy. He does a particularly adorable backwards prance when he’s really excited to see you, but doesn’t want to let you out of his sight!

Duke would fit in well with an active family who can give him a good daily walk and play in the yard, although he’ll happily doze on quieter days. He doesn’t seem to have lived in a house before, and is enjoying discovering all the comfy places he can snooze on. Duke is not always aware of his size, so is not suitable for young children, but does live peacefully with his foster carers’ cat. He doesn’t mind either way about small dogs, and is happy to meet canine friends of any size. He would be fine with a doggy companion, or just with humans for company.
