About Penny
Penny is just ever so sweet, she loves to cuddle up to her foster parents and also share the beds and toys with the host dogs. She has been described as a pleasure to be around and everyone absolutely adores her. She has also shown that she isn't just good looks either, that she is extremely intelligent. She is mastering her toilet training, on leash walking, basic obedience commands and she is excellent with other animals. She is currently in foster care with 2 other dogs, but was previously fostered with a ranging pack of 10-12 other dogs, plus she has also been exposed to cats, young kids, horse, cattle and chickens living in an adjoining coop.
She would do amazing in a home with another friendly and social dog, but she could also be an only dog if the household provided adequate mental and physical stimulation. She will need a home with fencing of at least 4ft but she can also go to a home with rural property fencing as she has been exposed to this in her previous foster home.
She has also been around young kids, and although she could be a little jumpy she showed nothing but love and affection and admiration for the little tykes. So a home with young kids would be easy for her to adjust to.
Penny is able to go to her new home as of now and her adoption fee is only a mere $350. She is located at Toukley on the Central Coast.
Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
