Sophie

Sophie is a low maintenance girl who would love a forever home of her own, someone who can cuddle and spoil her just like she deserves.
Unfortunately for Sophie, she has spent the last 4 years living with little interaction from humans in a backyard, covered in fleas and demanding attention. She is only a small girl, around 4 kilos in size

But since being in foster care, she has shown how sweet and devoted she is to humans. She is great with other little dogs, but can be fearful and unsure of large breeds so a home with another small dog or one as an only dog would be preferred. She seems fine with cats but can bark at them if unsure but no aggression has been shown by her towards them.
One thing though, she is excellent with kids of all ages. She is happy to be held and patted by them with no fuss whatsoever.
She has been doing great in the toilet training department and is about 95% there and with continued work and dedication, we know she would master that with ease. She is very low maintenance and would happily go for a walk every so often with her new family but wouldn't say no to be walked more regularly if that's something people are interested in.

We would like Sophie to be in a household that includes her in the family more, allowing her inside on winter nights and snuggles on a doggie bed or lounge with her new humans. She doesn't seem to show any signs of wanting to escape so a household with standard fencing would be fine, but due to her small stature no gaps in the fencing is essential. A home that can cherish and love her is what Sophie needs, she would suit an elderly family or maybe a young couple. She really isn't hard to please at all and seems to travel quite well in the car also.
