Rua

Rua was surrendered to our Adoption Program the day she was born. She has been hand raised by one of our very dedicated vet nurses who has done a wonderful job of raising a resilient and well adjusted puppy. Rua is a very laid back, fun loving, cheeky young lady. She has been raised with a number of other dogs and puppies so she is highly sociable and willing to make friends with everyone she meets. She has been very clever in successfully negotiating her ever-growing ears and has done well not to fall over the rolls that continue to appear on her short little legs. Tight corners can sometimes be a problem but she is learning to negotiate her long back well. Secure fencing is a must, as Basset's are known to lose track of their surroundings when following their noses. She is an absolute sweetheart and would be the perfect addition to any family.
