About Jäger
Jägermeister is a very large (45kg) and gentle dog who likes to be indoors with the family, and be a couch potato. His mum was a Great Dane X Mastiff and his dad a Harlequin Dane X Johnson Bulldog.
He barks a low, deep alert when people approach the house, so would make a good watch dog, but is actually a shy personality with people and not at all fierce. He prefers women over men. He likes to be the boss of other dogs and be King of the Castle - a glare from him will have other dogs yielding their bed to him.
Jäger knows how to sit, drop, and shake paws. He is lead trained, but likes to stop and pee on every tree, such a boy :)
Jäger requires very good fencing, as he likes to spring against it in order to see over the top at passersby, neighbouring dogs, etc - so the fence must be strong enough to withstand his weight bouncing off it. Probably how he earned his original name of "Sinner", lol!
Jäger was surrendered to us due to the owner's personal situation, not any fault of his own. He is a bit thin, so his foster carer is feeding him up.
Jäger is located in WAGGA WAGGA, a five-hour drive from Sydney or Melbourne.
This pet will come microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
