Sandy

Sandy is a very energetic playful pup who needs an active family who have the time to provide her with plenty of daily exercise and interactive playtime such as teaching her to play fetch. Once fully vaccinated she will need to start going for daily walks increasing in time and distance as she grows.
Puppy preschool would be great for Sandy. There she will learn to follow basic commands as well as socialise with the other puppies and people and perhaps even learn a fancy trick or two! If you have children the classes are an ideal place for them to learn how to handle and interact with Sandy in a calm and safe manner so please encourage them to participate also.
During her stay with us Sandy has enjoyed playing with other puppies. She will need to meet any prospective doggy housemates prior to adoption so if you do already have a dog and you are thinking of adopting Sandy please bring your dog along to the shelter to meet her so we can see how they interact.
To ensure Sandy is kept safe and secure she will need a large yard which has colourbond fences and gates that are in good condition with no gaps or footholes.
Sandy is going through the teething stage so ensuring she is provided with plenty of appropriate chew toys is important... as is keeping those things she shouldn't chew safely away from her!
