Boffy

Boffy is going to grow to be a very big and playful young man with plenty of spunk. Boffy will need to go to a very active family that have had previous experience handling and training large breed dogs and are able to ensure that Boffy receives a long walk at least twice a day. Boofy will need a large fully secure yard with 5ft fences that are of sound quality and flush to the ground all the way around. Boofy's new yard will also need to be filled with plenty of toys games and activities to help keep him entertained and out of trouble during the times he is left unattended. Boffy does have unpigmented skin so it is essential he has sunscreen applied daily and his yard has plenty of shaded areas as he is very sensitive to sunburn which can lead to skin cancers. He will also need a bath every 6-8 weeks.
We recommend that any other dogs you may already have come along to the shelter to meet with Boofy before his adoption is finalised.
Boofy will need to be monitored when interacting with children and would be best suited to a home with children over 6yrs of age. Boffy will also need to be well socialised with other dogs and would benefit greatly from attending puppy pre-school classes.
