Milo

Milo is an absolutely adorable boy who needs a committed loving forever family. He has unpigmented skin which is sensitive to sunburn and allergens so his family must be prepared to take precautions such as daily sunscreen regular baths (every 6 weeks) and having plenty of shade in his yard to help keep his skin in good health.
Being a puppy Milo of course has his cheeky playful side but is also very snuggly and settles very quickly. His is currently going through the teething stage so he will need plenty of appropriate chew toys to help him through. Milo does enjoy the company of his brothers here at the shelter and will need to meet any prospective doggy housemates prior to adoption so if you do already have a dog and you are thinking of adopting Milo please bring your dog along to the shelter to meet him so we can see how they interact. Any other pets in the household should be introduce to Milo slowly and under supervision.
Puppy preschool would be great for Milo to learn to follow basic commands socialise with other puppies and people and even learn a fancy trick or two! If you have children the classes are a great opportunity for them to learn how to interact with Milo in a calm and safe manner so please encourage them to participate also. Once fully vaccinated Milo will need to be taken for a daily walk increasing in time and length as he grows.
Milo has a lot of growing to do and to help ensure healthy growth and development he is currently on a diet of Hills Science Diet- Puppy Large Breed and we strongly recommend he continues on this in his new home.
