About Marley *On Trial in Her New Home*
*MARLEY IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HER NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet adorable Marley! She was a shy, timid pup with no socialisation when surrendered to us for rehousing, though with patience and love she’s growing into a happy and affectionate young dog who’s ready to find her forever home; will it be with you?
Clever Marley has learnt to sit and wait for treats and food. She is also learning to relax and enjoy walks on a lead with her older canine companion as her teacher. Although she is still a boisterous young girl who loves to jump and play, continued training and socialisation will help her become a well-mannered member of the family - we would recommend puppy-school if possible. Marley is currently sharing a household with an older cat, and is a little too active for them to be friends at the moment, but with time and maturity she may be accepted by felines as a companion.
Loveable Marley would suit an active family or a home with another fun-loving dog for company if you’re at work for most of the day as she may get bored and up to mischief if she’s left alone for long hours. She is crate trained and now holds on overnight, and is starting to indicate that she needs to toilet whilst inside during the day. She loves to go for rides in the ute out to the farm, run and chase around the backyard with her fellow canine, and then lie in the sun while you admire just how cute she is!
And after a busy day of running, sleeping and a good long walk around town or to the local oval, Marley loves nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch and enjoy some quiet time with her humans. Daily walks, secure fencing, bones to chew on and toys to play with in her forever home will make Marley very happy indeed!
If you’ve got the time, patience and love to continue bringing up marvellous Marley then please download and complete a SARG Dog Application form by following this link: http://www.sarg.net.au/adopt-a-pet/
Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
