About Scooby (Cat/Dog/Child Friendly)
Scooby was rescued from a Pound by Wally's Doggie Rescue and is now in foster care in a family environment. We are unsure of his previous life and background but when he arrived into care Scooby was shut down, timid and scared of everything.
Scooby also known as Scoob. Is living with an 18 year old cat, 6 month old female dog, an 8 year old child and two 2 year old rabbits. Scooby walks well on a lead with very minimal pulling. He isn't fussed on road noise and is completely toilet trained. Sleeps in an outside laundry with Ruby, a large host dog female, and cries for a minimum of 15-20 minutes then settles and goes off to sleep. Scooby needs a home with/without another dog companion and a family who is going to love him and give him the attention a family member should be given. He's not destructive and is very well behaved.
With TLC and attention, Scooby is now learning the joys of human contact and coming along in leaps and bounds. He is a playful boy who loves attention. This gorgeous boy will 'sit', 'come' and walks well on a lead without pulling.
Scooby has shown some food aggression while in care and his foster family are working hard to correct this, this can be a common problem who have been starved and neglected. His carer has described him as a 'lounge lizard' and enjoys the creature comforts of the couch next to his humans. Scooby sleeps inside of a night, has not displayed any digging/chewing tendencies and is just eager to please you.
We would love to see Scooby find a home with/without a doggie companion in a home where he was very much a part of the family. He is perfectly behaved when out and about and is not a barker. If your looking for a devoted, loyal companion who you will allow to live both inside and outside as part of the family, then you need to meet Scooby!
As with all of our dogs/pups, we strongly recommend ongoing training in their new home and you will then be rewarded with a well mannered and sociable dog. Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Scooby.
Scooby has had all his vetwork complete and is ready for adoption today! Scooby is NOT good with pocket pets.

Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
