About Elsa (Dog/Cat Friendly)
Meet ELSA an 8 year old female KELPIE mix of 19kg. Else is in foster care in Springfield on the NSW Central Coast and is dog and cat friendly.
Elsa is our incredibly sweet, calm and gentle older girl. At 8 years of age, she hasn't had the easiest life. She was rescued from a Sydney pound and has been in foster care since April 2016.
Her foster mum adores her and says she is the most well behaved and sweet natured dog, she's ever met. It was obvious from the start that love and affection were new to her. But oh is she enjoying it now! she is really thriving. Elsa loves to go on little walks around the block. She has recently started to enjoy running for a tennis ball too! She has some arthritis, that is easily managed with medication.
She is in foster care with a 4 yr old female German Shepherd, a 5 yr old female Mastiff, a 7 yr old small Terrier mix and a 9 yr old Burmese cat.
She is happy with everyone, without an ounce of aggression. She doesn't like to wrestle or be around anything too boisterous, so a calm home with older children and older/smaller dogs would suit her perfectly. She would be just as happy as an only one. She loves nothing more than 1 on 1 time with her foster mum. Elsa sleeps like a log for 10 hours a night and is fully toilet trained. She very rarely barks (only for a reason, twice in 6 weeks) and enjoys rides in the car. Although she loves to be by your side she is also happy to be left alone on her comfortable bed and a few toys. I doubt this little beauty has ever put a foot wrong, she is so deserving of a loving forever home. She is eating well and gets quite excited at meal times now! If you are looking for a new best friend, a little shadow, who just wants to be loved, Elsa may be the girl for you!

Adoption details
When enquiring about Elsa, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home (Permission from your landlord a MUST), what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Doggie Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and Elsa.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
