When Kelly first arrived in care, it was obviously that her and her siblings hadn’t been handled very much at all. They were very scared of even the slightest noises. After a week of patience, time and love, she is now a real little purr machine. She now comes running to me as soon as she sees me, and purrs like crazy the minute you pick her up.
Her and her siblings are learning that cat toys and scratching posts are awesome, and will play for hours, then all curl up together on the top of the highest scratching post for a snooze.
She is currently being introduced to the other cats and dogs in her foster home, so by the time she leaves care will be social with both cats and small dogs.
