On Hold
About Minnie Mae - Cat, Dog, & Child Friendly.
Sweet little Minnie Mae is such a happy girl, every day she excitedly jumps for joy at the sight of her foster family often makeing herself fall over wagging her tail so enthusiastically.
...But you know, I'm so amazed at just how much she loves people and how unconditional her love is, you see before coming to foster care 'Minnie' was surrender to a rural pound shortly after having a littler of puppies, still producing milk for her babies, left for dead. Fortunately she found rescue...
She has taken her chance to start over and run with it. Straight away she showed us she knows "Sit" "Shake" "Shake with your other hand" that she is toilet trained and never has accidents inside, she is cat, and older child friendly (not tested with small children, but I have no doubt she'd be fine) but sometimes although gentle about it, she can forget her manners and jump up for a pats.
Shes also dog friendly and currently in foster care with 4 large dogs-- all of which she gets along with perfectly.
But when new dogs or particularly high energy breed dogs approach her she can be frightened and growl and bark until she knows they aren't going to hurt her.
Since being in foster care she has learnt to sleep in a crate at night, she knows how to hold invisible boundaries through out the house by listening to warning tones and she also know what "go to your bed" means.
Minnie Mae is a great dog and would suit most family's, she will need daily walks to keep her from getting bored and as most dogs do would benefit from weekly obedience classes with her new family.
If you're interested in meeting Minnie Mae she is currently located in Warranwood and would love to meet you.
