About Hera ** 2nd Chance Cat Rescue**
Though she is still quite young herself, Hera has taken up the mantle of motherhood and done so with grace and joy. She loves looking after her babies and watching them lovingly. She gets concerned when they cry, but lets them figure out tasks on their own.
Hera has flourished in her time here at 2nd Chance and has grown into a beautiful, affectionate and playful cat. Being still a kitten herself, she still has a big playful side; she runs around after her kittens, throws toys about and rolls around wrestling the kittens. She loves to lay somewhere warm and elevated and nap, watching everything that is going on. She adores cuddles and "scratchies" from people and will often even roll over for a little chest scratch!
Hera chirps and meows a sweet greeting at you in the morning, if she is after a quick cuddle, but those are the only sounds you hear from her. She loves to cuddle into your shoulder when you pick her up, or curl up on your lap and keep you warm. She enjoys watching the ferrets, gets along well with the cats and likes the dog but only plays with him if she starts the play. She is a truly loving and affectionate kitty with nothing but warmth in her heart.

Adoption details
All our cats and kittens are:
* desexed,
* micro-chipped,
* vaccinated and
* worm and flea treated.
ADOPTION QUESTIONNAIRE
We ask that you complete an Adoption Questionnaire before we make arrangements for you to meet a cat or kitten. This is to ensure that we find the best possible match for you and the cats/kittens in our care.
PROCEDURE
1. Please send an e-mail to: danielamaslen@hotmail.com
2. You will be e-mailed our Adoption Questionnaire
3. Complete the Adoption Questionnaire and send (e-mail) back to us.
4. If your application is successful, we will contact you to arrange a meet and greet.
If the adoption is going ahead, we ask that you pay on the day of adoption the fee as stated on the cat's profile .
Please note that we only accept cash.
We hand over a signed Change of Ownership form which you will need to send to the Microchip company after the two week trial period has expired.
PLEASE BE PATIENT
2nd Chance Cat Rescue is a home-based rescue group and most of our volunteers are working full-time so we hope that you understand that it may take 1-2 days to get back to you.
