Roger ~ On Trial 23/7/16

Hi! My name is Roger – Roger Dodger! I am a happy 5 month old Stumpy Tail Cattle Dog x Kelpie x Lover puppy who is currently looking for my perfect furever home! I have a stumpy tail so I wag my whole body in excitement when I see you to show you how happy I am. Due to my colouring I look like a compact little rotti puppy – I’m a little nugget of cuteness! I’m not very tall for my breed mix – I will probably grow up to be on the small side of medium.

A little bit about me, I had a pretty ruff start for a puppy but now I am a pretty happy healthy puppy. I absolutely love to be cuddled and adored by people of all ages and sizes. I currently live in a house with four other dogs and get along with them very well. Except when I try to wake them up too early to play, then they get a little cranky with me. My foster house also has a cat who I like. He tries to cuddle me and I lick him and follow him around the house. My foster parents also work full time and I’m pretty happy outside with my foster brother and sisters whilst they are at work as long as I get my chew treat and have somewhere warm and dry to snuggle up in if it gets too cold.

Making you proud of me is important so I like to learn. So far I know where the toilet is, how to sit, drop and am getting better at wait. I need more practice walking on a lead. I don’t pull much mainly I am a little scared of it! Some patience and a practice though and I’ll be a pro in no time. I don’t go in the car much at the moment but when I do, I don’t mind it too much. Especially if it’s to go to the park for our weekend doggy play dates! If it’s to go to the Vet though I get a little sad

What I need in my perfect furever home is love, cuddles, yummy food, a yard to run around in, a comfy bed inside (or the couch!) and a canine play friend to play with. Being a puppy I will get bored if left alone so I would love a canine friend to keep me busy and be a good role model as I grow. My foster mummy recommends puppy-training classes to give me the best start in life – us puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and continued training as we grow.

I would suit a home with a dog friendly cat, with little humans and other dogs. I’m still learning how to use my brakes so a home with little humans under 7 may not be suitable as I might knock them over when I’m running around playing.
