About Harley (aka Goofy)
This lovely boy is the perfect addition to an active family. A big friendly inside boy, he just wants to be where you are. He is child friendly, toilet trained, learning his basic commands and will sit for his dinner.
If you're home a lot he'll be fine as an only dog, but would be very, very happy with a smaller active doggy playmate. He is so gentle, and loves his staffy foster sister to bits. If they are not playing together they are curled up together having a nap.
Harley was very thin when rescued from the pound and still has a little weight to put on, so will need to be fed two to three times a day for the short term. During his time on the streets he learned to seek out food everywhere, so until this habit is broken he needs to be put outside while you're preparing and eating food. We believe that once he understands that he is safe and that food will be regularly provided, he will get over this.
Harley does have quite a funny habit of picking up shoes or socks etc. and carrying them around. We suspect he would become a little destructive if not exercised regularly. But this is no different to any young active dog.
This handsome boy gets compliments often, at kids soccer games and when out and about etc. What a pleasure Harley is.
Not tested with cats but his foster mum thinks he'd be fine.
