About Frosty
**We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.**
Frosty is a shy, super-sweet little dog. Eager to learn, he responds immediately to his name being called and has shown the ability to pick up new skills quickly.
This lovely boy most enjoys relaxing in a comfortable spot in the lounge room, but adores his walks, too, and is terrific on the lead.
Because Frosty is still learning to trust, he is looking for a special human or humans who will love investing the time and patience required to help him become the happy, relaxed, loving dog that we can see he is inside.
MY IDEAL HOME: A quiet, child-free household with an experienced dog owner would work best for me, preferably with another older dog I can learn from. I really love the resident pooch in my foster home, he makes me feel very secure and teaches me good behaviours. :)
I am fine when left alone in the house, so a working household would be suitable. You'll need to be fairly active, as walks are one of my favourite things in the world!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, I'd say. I like two walks a day, but when I'm at home I'm a champion at lazing about and snoozing.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Older children 10+ only, please, although a child-free home would suit me even better.
MY SUITABILITY TO DOGS AND CATS: I love cuddling up to my older Dachshund friend in my foster home! I haven't met any other dogs though, or cats, so if you have resident pets a slow, steady introduction would be best.

Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at http://www.maggiesrescue.org/adoption-enquiry/. Please use this link rather than the 'find out more' button on the pet's PetRescue profile.
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
