ABOUT
Wisteria is a stunning black cat, with a magnificent full and fluffy coat true to her Maine Coon genes. This breeding also means Wisteria is likely to be a large cat, and may continue to grow until 2 years of age! You may be familiar with Wisteria from our weekly updates on the page – She came into care as a small kitten, totally afraid of human touch and interaction. In the few months we have had her, we have seen her grow into a stunning girl. Although still not affectionate, when in your arms she will purr away and happily accept pats and cuddles. She gives us the cutest little meows in the morning while waiting for her breakfast, and will let you sit near her while she eats. She is also happy to play at the end of a stick, or batting balls back to you in the kitten toys. Her ultimate favourite game is the ever popular elusive red dot, which she could chase for hours. We must be honest – due to her scaredy nature, she is unlike the affectionate kittens we all know. We are searching for that extra special someone who will allow her to flourish, and become a perfect companion cat. She needs a dedicated individual who will take the time to get to know her and build her trust. Due to her timid nature, we feel as if Wist would learn and grow from having another cat in the household, so that she may see other interactions with humans and hopefully take that behaviour on board. She is an extra special girl, and therefore will only suit an extra special human and we look forward to seeing her thrive and bloom (get it... Wisteria is a flower!) in the future.
