About Sweetie
Sweetie, previously called Athena when she was rescued from Renbury Farm, is a lovely 3 year old Boxer x Great Dane girl with a sweet personality, affectionate and smiling all the time, who came to us at Easter. She is sharing a foster home with a couple and their 4 Boxers until we can find her that special family for her to love and be part of forever.
She would prefer to be an inside dog as she loves to snuggle up on the sofa bed by the fire at nite with her mates. She is house trained and well behaved inside, but she does enjoy having a run around outside and a snooze in the sun. I feel she would need for someone to be home more often than not or to have one or two doggy companions to keep her company as she loves to be close to her humans and doggy pals. She is not suited to being an only dog.
She walks well on the lead and loves to go for drives in the car and also needs to get out and have a good run as she loves to go to the footy ground and run like the wind, but she is always a very good girl and comes when she is called. She would be a wonderful companion and friend for the right person or family. Please come & meet this darling girl and you will fall in love.
Sweetie is located near ALBURY, NSW.
This pet will come microchipped, but council registration - if required in your state or territory - is not included in the adoption fee.
Adoption details
Our goal is to match pets' personalities and exercise/training requirements with people whose lifestyle they are best suited to. This reduces the chances of the pet winding up in a pound again. Please don't feel offended by our adoption process, it is for everyone's and every animal's benefit:
1. Submit application for adoption (obtain at Best Friends Pet Rescue website).
2. Homechecks are conducted on short-listed approved applicant(s).
3. Best match selected according to the pet's personality and needs.
4. Successful applicant notified, and must place holding deposit while transport/pickup arrangements made.
